BenQ presents the new Joybook Lite U121 Eco netbook that will be available soon in China, Malaysia and Taiwan markets. The U121 Eco sports an Intel Atom Z520 or Z530 processor, 1GB RAM, Intel GMA500 graphics, a hard 
BenQ’s JoyBook U121 comes with a 11.6-inch 1366×768 LED-backlit LCD display, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, a 4-in-1 card reader and optional Bluetooth. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g and optional HSUPA 3.G. There are built-in 2W speakers with SRS TruSurround HD sound effect.
BenQ Joybook Lite U121 Eco runs either Windows XP Home or Linux Lite. It includes a battery that can run for 8 hours. The Eco netbook weighs just 1.3kg.

iRex to launch Color e-Book Reader in 2011

iRexTechnologies announced that a color, writable, ultra thin digital e-book reader is expect to be launched in mid-2011.
The new iRex solution will be based on subtractive color mixing similar to physical printing which will offer three times the brightness of current color prototypes.
