Motorola Olympus shows up in the wild

Posted on December 2nd, 2010 by Salman in Cell Phones, Leaked and Speculated

I am not kidding. Another phone with specifications mixed from various phones has again started to show up on different websites. The best part of such leaks is that people don’t get bored leaking stuff which really doesn’t seem to be interesting.

The overly thin Motorola Olympus seems to has been caught in some flea market by an internet user and its images are currently making rounds on the internet.

The photographs of Motorola Olympus that have popped in till now show that the upcoming touchscreen phone will have HDMI output along with the standard micro USB connector. Both the connector ports are planted on the side of the super thin Motorola Olympus. The image shows that the phone might be having at least 4 inches of screen with complete social networking options and super touch features to keep the users engrossed.

We are not sure if the Motorola Olympus will prove to be the next iPhone killer but we are rest assured that this upcoming touchscreen phone will surely give strong fight to the Apple 4G gem. The slightly elongated speaker on the sides of Motorola Olympus may help the phone come up with better voice features. The phone is also expected to have a front facing camera.

New Lenovo S800 comes with a transparent colour display

Posted on December 1st, 2010 by Mike Jefferson in Cell Phones

Lenovo has recently showed their latest handset named Lenovo S800 during the sport fashion event in Beijing. So what does Lenovo have to offer with the new S800? Let’s check it out.

So far, not many information is available at the moment about this phone, so we don’t know its hardware specification, but hardware specification isn’t the highlight of this model, it is its design. Lenovo S800 is one of the first mobile phones that is using see-through display, and we have to admit that it looks quite revolutionary. Although Sony Ericsson was the first company that has released a cell phone with a transparent display called Xperia Pureness, Lenovo S800 is a first cell phone that is using transparent display that supports colors.

Sadly, besides the transparent color display, we don’t have any other information about this phone, so we’ll just have to wait for the information about the hardware specifications and pricing.

Posted on December 3rd, 2010 by Salman in Laptops / Computers

Toshiba is amongst those laptop making companies that keeps in mind the general demands of an average laptop user. Their upcoming model, NB520, is surely the result of such forward thinking which will result in amazing sound quality from this laptop if you happen to buy the same.

We rarely find ourselves trying to hear loud music from our laptops as we don’t expect our laptops to come up with amazing sound experiences. Somehow, the times might just be changing with Toshiba NB520 round the corner.

“Offering a magic sound experience by featuring the world’s smallest Harman/Kardon speakers on a laptop embedded in a slim and stylish casing, the mini NB520 meets a yet unfulfilled user demand in the netbook market”, said Marco Perino, General Manager, Product Marketing EMEA Toshiba Computer Systems Division. 81.4% of netbook users say that it is important that their device offers a good sound. More than two thirds of netbook users use the speakers when listening to music or watching videos while being alone at home, while around 40% do so together with friends.

Harman Kardon speakers will power the NB520 for those who love cracking music and NB500 will serve the purpose for those consumers who love to live life peacefully. Prices haven’t been announced yet but we are expecting something unexpected due to the “loud”feature.
