Micromax Modu T 3G Phone in India, Price Rs 12000, IM, GPS, 5MP Camera
Micromax announced an exclusive partnership with Israeli based modu, to launch the co-branded and customized modu T phone in India. Micromax modu T, a 3.5G touch phone was awarded a Guinness World Records for being the lightest touch mobile phone in the world. The modu T phone will be available in India from 22nd October 2010 and will be launched with pre-bundled 2GB memory card, at a price of Rs. 12,500.

Micromax Modu is a stylish 3.5G mobile phone and is said to be the lightest modular Touchscreen in the world at just 55 Grams. The handset can display up to 262K on the 2.2″ QVGA LCD touch screen. This lightweight compact phone runs on Qualcomm’s Brew operating system.
Its multimedia features include Multi-format music player that can play music in MP3, AMR, MIDI, WAV formats. 5.0 MP camera can record and play the videos. My Verdict
Spice M-67 is a spectacular announcement from Spice Mobiles. I feel that it will attract a lot of attention as the price is affordable too. It will be interesting to see the 3D UI and video quality the phone gives. Overall, the phone seems great to me.
Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot S006: Staggering 16.4MP Camera Phone
Last week, I went through an article stating that Sony had developed a 16.4 megapixel CMOS sensor. It`s just few days since then and the sensor is already deployed in a new handset from Sony Ericsson termed as Cyber-shot S006. It is indeed world’s first handset featuring a 16.4 MP camera.
The phone has its back illuminated with CMOS Sensor named “Exmor R”. The camera comes with a support of High-Brightness LED Flash, AutoFocus etc. to give an excellent image quality.
Apart from the breathtaking 16.4 MP camera, the phone comes with a 1GHz processor, 3.3 inch touchscreen display, WiFi, Bluetooth, Music Player, FM Radio, GPS etc.
The excellent looking Cyber-shot S006 however does not have Android as its operating system. The phone is equipped with Sony`s proprietary OS. The handset has an internal memory of 700MB and an expandable memory limit up to 16GB (via microSDHC card).
The phone is available in three amazing colours of Gold Feather, Burumupinku andAurora Black.
The handset will initially be launched in Japan in and around Spring 2011. Thereafter, it will be launched in rest of the world including India. There is no news about its price as well. We will update you as soon as we get any news.
