Latest technology: Brother Industries vibration-powered generating

Preserving of environment is quite important nowadays and we have seen many gadgets that can help us with that. We already know that disposable batteries are a bad solution because they can be toxic for the environment. With these new rechargeable batteries, they may help us preserve the environment whilst at the same time creating power.

This new set of batteries comes from a company Brother Industries Ltd and interesting thing about these batteries is that they are recharged by vibration. These batteries are also called generators although the company calls them vibration-powered generating battery. Interesting thing is that this generator will be able to replace both AA and AAA batteries.

These batteries consist of a single battery and a generator that are connected with a small cord. Since these batteries are powered by vibration they suppose to replace standard disposable batteries. Generator comes in a battery-like shape and when used in a low power consumption device it can replace a battery. This is perfect since you’ll can easily use these batteries in a device such as a remote and there won’t be a need for you to replace batteries since you can easily recharge them by shaking your remote.

As for the generator itself it consists of electromagnetic induction generator and electric double layer that has capacitance of 500mF. Although the vibration-powered generating battery seems interesting it’s not available for sale yet. Only question that remains is how long will you need to shake those batteries in order to provide enough energy for your devices?
