Panasonic unveils DMC-ZX1 digital camera with 8x optical zoom
July 29th, 2009Panasonic has announced another addition to its Lumix range of cameras called the DMC-ZX1. This camera is said to offer a compact design and a powerful 8x optical zoom.
It features the newly developed lens unit which includes 0.3mm super-thin aspherical lens and 0.3mm spherical lens. MaxLinear and Hauppauge Digital to launch TV tuners for netbooks
July 29th, 2009MaxLinear and Hauppauge Digital have teamed up to create a TV tuner card for netbooks. This card will be specifically planned for the UMPC and netbook markets.
This new card will be designed on the lines of MaxLinear’s MxL5007T CMOS silicon tuner. The card is also said to include components similar to the MxL5007T. Philips to launch V808 Android phone?

KDDI unveils microSD cards with Wi-Fi
July 28th, 2009In the past, Eye-Fi card made an impression with its ability to offer Wi-Fi connectivity. Now KDDI Corp is making waves with the recent introduction of two microSD cards with Wi-Fi connectivity, reports Slashgear. The two memory cards when equipped in a mobile phone facilitate a rapid internet connection.
