Asus rolls out Eee PC 1004DN netbook with optical drive
July 28th, 2009Asus has introduced a new netbook with an optical drive, reports Engadget. Claimed to be the first netbook with an integrated optical drive, the Eee PC1004DN, has a 10.2-inch display with 1,024×600 resolution. Reportedly, it’s by far the only netbook to use the Intel GN40 chipset.

Band Hero DS rolls out Drum Grip peripheral
July 28th, 2009Band Hero DS recently launched little drum controllers for optimal drumming, reports Kotaku. The new Drum Grip device will be included with every purchase of the upcoming musical game Brand Hero DS. The game also includes a DS Lite-compatible guitar grip.

Century rolls out Plus One LCD-8000UD display

Century has released its new and improved Plus One LCD-8000UD display, reports Engadget. This display now incorporates DVI connectivity. The 8-inch display still maintains the same 800 x 600 resolution.
The Plus One is said to incorporate USB input and 250 nits of brightness. The DVI port of this device is actually an output port. This display can also be used as a USB-to-DVI video card. This feature allows users to attach a larger DVI display to their computer or laptop.
