Collins America launches Mini DisplayPort LCDs

Collins America recently unveiled its Cinema View displays for the Mac. The newly introduced display series includes the CinemaView 47, CinemaView 24 and a tuner dubbed Cinema TV.

The 24-inch Cinema View 24 offers a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a 0.277mm pixel pitch. The device is bundled with 16.7 million 8-bit colors and presents a contrast ratio of 1000:1. The display incorporate four USB 2.0 ports and weighs 18.9 lbs. The device presents a view angle of 170/160 degrees and brightness of 300cd/m². It is inclusive of VESA adapter and wall mount feature.

Optima OP5-E Maemo MID with 4.3-inch touchscreen

Optima OP5-E MID Optima has rolled out a new MID (Mobile Internet Device) dubbed OP5-E, reports Slashgear. The OP5-E is a 4.3-inch touchscreen MID that is powered by the Maemo operating system. The MID will also incorporate support for 3G and GPS.

The Maemo based OP5-E will bundle up a 3.2-megapixel camera and voice call functionality. The 5.6” x 2.9” x 0.69” OP5-E incorporates an 806MHz Marvell PXA320 PCU along with 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM. The device will initially incorporate support for VoIP calls but will also incorporate full calling and SMS functionality later.

Canon unveils iVIS HF21 and iVIS HF S11 camcorders

Canon has unveiled two new camcorders dubbed iVIS HF21 and iVIS HF S11, reports Akihabara. Both these camcorders feature 64GB onboard storage and SDHC card slot.

These cameras are capable of recording a little less than about six hours of 24Mbps footage with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Powered by Canon’s DIGIC DV III Video processor, these cameras incorporate ports like USB, AV, headphones and microphone-input.

Logitec Japan intros 1.5TB external HDD

Logitec External HDD Logitec Japan unveils its latest external HDD that offers enormous storage space. The external storage device is wrapped in a simple and slim casing. The hard drive is available in three variants, each of them offering different storage capacities.

Amazon to replace Kindle 2 screens for free

Recently, Amazon was in limelight for the Kindle 2 screens, reports Slashgear. Reportedly, the Kindle 2 seemed to be cracking at the points where the accessory attached to the device.

Corsair has introduced the new Extreme series solid state drives dubbed X32, X64 and X128. The X32 is a 32GB drive while the X64 and X128 are 64GB and 128GB drives respectively.

Elecom introduces Egg Mouse Mini

Elecom Egg Mouse Elecom had previously launched Egg mouse, and now its descendant dubbed Egg Mouse Mini arrives. This new version of the Egg Mouse is smaller than its predecessor, reports Crunchgear.

The smaller version comes with a 1000 dpi sensor, three buttons and a scroll wheel. The Egg themed mouse apparently weighs just 46g and its dimensions are 49.6mm x 66mm x 35.4mm. Reportedly, Elecom had launched a mouse with the same theme a year ago.

Olympus has made another addition to the Mju series in the form of the Tough-6010. Engadget reports that the Mju series is also known as the Stylus series in the US. We had earlier heard of the launch of the Stylus Tough-8000 and Stylus Tough-6000.
