Toshiba to unveil Blu-ray player?

After having cast off the HD DVD format, Toshiba has finally relinquished to the expected and joined the Blu-ray camp, reports T3. According to a report in the Daily Yomiuri, Toshiba will be introducing a Blu-ray combo player by the end of this year somewhere in the world along with a Blue-ray recorder.
A year and five months back when the company had abandoned HD DVD from the market, it hinted that it would instead pursue a wide range of new-generation technologies. After the Blu-ray sales rocketing up by 91 percent as compared to last year, we guess Toshiba had no choice but to join the other team.

TriGem Averatec a 22-inch All-in-One space saving computer

A new 22-inch computer was recently unveiled by TriGem. This space saving all-in-one device known as the Averatec D1005 caters to the needs of business or home users and college students who utilize the PC for various reasons.
The novel device incorporates an Intel Core2 Duo E5200 processor with 2.5 GHz and a 3GB RAM that is expandable to 4GB. It also inlcudes a 320GB SATA hard drive and a Windows Vista Premium operating system. It features a 22” WXGA screen with a 2.0 mega-pixel webcam.
With a DVD Super-Multi optical drive, the computer also packs in Intel 802.11n wireless LAN and an Intel X4500HD video graphics card. It also sports an integrated 10/100/1000 Mb/s wired LAN. There’s also a full-size wired USB keyboard and mouse on-board.

Sony launches PCM-M10 handheld pro-audio recorder

Sony has unveiled its latest addition to the company’s line of handy professional audio recorders, reports Brand Linder. Dubbed as the PCM-M10, it joins the company’s PCM-D10 and PCM-D50 models to form a family of flexible and strong portable field recorders. Users can not only use it as a personal music player but can also compose music, record practice sessions and performances.

Toshiba reveals new Satellite laptop range for UK

Toshiba adds four more models to its popular Satellite laptop family. The line-up now includes the A500, U500, L500 and L550 laptops. All these laptops are claimed to be loaded with the latest features that should match consumer demands.
