Become eco friendly

Ecology is very important these days because the Earth is more and more affected by pollution and wee all suffer the consequences: bad air, bad whether, bad water and ugly places (full of garbage).

This is why people want to do something to protect and clean our planet.

The good news more companies are trying to create eco friendly products and launch ecological campaigns.

The latest eco campaign was launched by HP and it is called power to change. See the video below for more details.

Power of change is a website from where you can download a widget which reminds you to turn off your computer when you are not using it.

The simple act of turning off you computer can help:

  • reduce energy waste
  • curb carbon emissions
  • save money

I have installed the widget and I wait to see the result how much energy I save. For now it shows zero because I’ve just installed the widget.

Tip: If you are not using your computer for a short time you can use the suspend to RAMM function (Sleep): your computer will save energy and it will start fast when you’ll need it again.

Every day 4 million cups of coffee are served in Styrofoam or paper cups and end up in landfills across the US. Even paper cups may seem biodegradable, but the conventional coating on hot cups prevents them from even being compostable.

Reports show that only 5 % of the plastic in the world is recycled, and styrofoam takes 200 years to decompose.

It is the time to do something and stop the Styrofoam and paper cup use in your office.

    Buying Used Cars Online

I recently bought a used cars for myself and trust me buying a car is a huge investment and it is very important to do a little bit of research work to make sure you get a car that is truly your money’s worth. You might want to ask a few questions to yourself like:

    • How many miles am I willing to have on your car?
    • What type of vehicle am I looking to buy?
    • What are the features I want in a used car?

After you have answered a few questions like these, you should be in a pretty good position to start looking for deals on used car websites. This can not only provide you with what a good price is for the car you are looking for but can also be a great place to purchase your car once you have decided on one you like. While you are looking online, beware of a price that seems too good to be true. It probably is and a low sales price could mean that the car is not in good condition and will end up costing you much more money later on. You might want to keep in mind that while buying a second-hand car online, make sure you go through a reputable company so that you know who you are dealing with.
