Just bought Kindle 2? I’m sorry, its just been a few months but Amazon has decided that a new Kindle with a larger 9.7 inch is to be launched. Amazon has finally announced their price tag for its latest black and white Kindle reading device - the Kindle DX, which will be priced at $489. Amazon is now taking pre-orders of the Kindle DX, shipping date has been said to be this coming summer, however, exact details remain vague.
The DX sports a larger, more comfortable 9.7-inch screen that can rotate to landscape display, its also a PDF reader (amongst a large number of other document formats that it is capable of reading). The Kindle DX also comes with more storage space at 3.3GB.

When you think of netbooks, a large majority of them are tiny laptops built based on a nasty block of plastic, with no elegance to it whatsoever. ASUS’ new Eee PC 1002HAE (consider it an upgrade from the 1002HA) is abit different. The 1002HAE has an exterior aluminum skin which gives an added advantage of shedding half a pound of weight from 1.45kg to 1.2kg. While its main specs remain much the same - 1.6GHz N280 processor, 802.11b/g/n, 1GB of memory and 160GB disk, 1.3 megapixel webcam, memory card slot, 3.8-hour Li-Polymer battery, and 10-inch 1,024 x 600 pixel LED backlit display.

Check out this recent hands on video of the new Sony X Series Walkman from Engadget. We know you all love your OLEDs, the NWZ-X1050 sports OLED touch screen and you will see the difference it makes in the vid below. While it is an evaluation unit (from Japan?), the NWZ-X1050 is now already available in Japan and Asia. We don’t expect there to be much difference when the X1050 eventually arrives here in the UK or the US.

Vertu are well known for making phones with elegant designs and a huge price tag and China are well known for making the exact same look-a-likes but literally priceless (and worthless). So this is what I suppose results when the Chinese decides to create a fake phone called the Lamborghini Vertu phone to rival against a Ferrari Vertu phone. By the way, this is literally a phone fake, because its not a clone, its completely original! You could give the Chinese for creating something original with their own design this time.
For those of you who care to know what the specs on board this phone fake are. There’s a camera, media player, FM radio, Bluetooth support, and of course a microSD memory card slot. In terms of size, the fake Vertu Ferrari phone has dimensions of 95×35×15 mm and weight of 102 grams.

Xerox Introduces ColorQube Solid Printer Ink
Here's a first: solid printer ink that claims to reduce the cost of color printing by up to 62%, when compared to laser color printers. The Xerox ColorQube 9200 series "are said to be like crayons and they are melted and squirted onto pages through four separate print heads."
The fast spray speed allows the printer to print at 38 ppm up to 85 ppm. Each solid ink cube can print 55,500 pages. The big issue at this point is that the printers start at over $23,000.
