Lenovo gets official with IdeaPad S10-2 netbook

A new iteration of Dell Mini 10’s release date and pricing details have been silently whispered in the internet zone. Dell has quietly posted a flyer of the Mini 10v netbook that sells for $299 (approx. Rs. 14,779), according to Engadget.

Given a code name as “Bear”, the computing device is developed for budget-conscious users who can make a choice over the regular Mini 10 that has the price tag of $100 more than the 10v.

Instead of the newer 1.33GHz Atom Z520 processor, the new version of Mini 10 works on the standard 1.6GHz Atom N280 and features 1GB of RAM, a 1.3-megapixel webcam and Windows XP.

Sprint has launched an affordable QWERTY messaging handset developed by Sanyo, says Electronista. This messaging device first made its presence felt at the CTIA expo.
