| LG Electronics in Korea has launched a 3.5-inch external hard disk drive called the XD4. It features the ‘One-touch Backup’ button, a high-gloss black aluminum finish, enhanced durability and protection against heat. The LG XD4 is available in 500GB, 750GB and 1TB.

| The Korean manufacturer TG (Trigem) has announced their new UMPC/MID called the LLUON Mobbit PS400. The device is powered by a 1.33GHz Z520 ATOM CPU and comes with a 4.8” touchscreen (WSVGA) LCD, 1GB of RAM, 30GB of HDD (or 16GB SSD), the Korean Wimax equivalent of Wi-Bro, the Wifi, Bluetooth, a digital TV tuner, a 2Mpix camera and running on Windows XP Home. The LLUON Mobbit PS400 measures 166 x 88 x 21 mm and weighs 375 grams, about the size of an average PMP.

| Jeffrey Stephenson has designed a case mod in the form of the Ingraham case mod. The retro looking case mode is his tribute to the Ingraham Cabinet Co. a company that designed and built many wooden cabinets in the 30s and 40s. The Ingraham case mod comes with a walnut-clad with a hand-built basswood frame layered atop a mid-grade mini-ITX SilverStone case. You’ll see a FireWire 400 port, a VIA VB8001 motherboard, a 1.6GHz processor, 4GB RAM and a 64GB SSD at the inside.
